About the organizer

It began in 1950-51 when local citizens and a group of twelve women worked to establish a branch of the Cecil County Public Library, and its stated mission is enriching the community with a primary focus on supporting the North East Branch of the library. The League presents the annual Arts & Crafts Fair, with local artisans, food and raffles; the 5th annual fair moves to the North East River Yacht Club.
